Where I live, You are tortured if you don't get something for whoever you are going out with or don't get them much. It is Advantageous to be single to you don't get this crap. (I have never dated anyone and don't plan to anytime in the foreseeable future)
You don't have to have a date or grifriend to have a happy valentines, you still got your friends and your family to love. I wished my mom a happy valentines, fuck I even got a card on the way back to school for her
