Blog post: Attempted Love
Oh my god. That was absolutely laugh-out-loud hilarious. Well done!
Love accomplished. Great film.
That was the best love letter I've ever seen.
Also, I guess the moral boils down to "It's never too late for a pity date"?
Either way, fantastic short. If you mess with black & white again, I'd advise you try to reign in the saturation. As it stands it actually wasn't bad, certainly didn't affect my ability to enjoy the film, but there were some scenes (the initial spotting of our bush-dwelling romantic springs to mind) where black dominated the viewer's focus. I hope there are more like this!
I seriously liked this movie.
and I loved that love letter. It may be funny, but it's simple and it's "innocent", I think.
Never ever in my life did I think about such beautiful words.
Yes I love that letter.
And that guy did try his best. That's impressive in a way.
It doesn't have anything to do with saturation (did you mean contrast?). When shooting film, you have to use a light meter to measure the amount of light in the shot, then you have to set the exposure based on the amount of light. If you open it to much or close it down too much, the shot will be exposed incorrectly. So I don't know if we did the wrong exposure or if the camera just sucked, but that's why. Shooting film is nothing like shooting video. It sucks.
Heh, I half-expected him to throw his book at her head when she pushed him away. Not sure why that was the initially-expected response..
I guess I have a lot to learn about the rights of women.
This is a really nice short film. I enjoyed watching this. Are you still in touch with the people in the film?
I don't think anyone understood my reference to the book in the movie.
Well there's nothing to say about it, that's why we didn't say anything.
I have to wonder if that's a real book? 'The Rights of Women'?
