Regarding Abobo's Big Adventure skins, am I the only one who (despite loving those sprites) thinks we need to ask permission from the people who made that game? It was a fan game just like Crossover that they put a lot of work into, and I feel like we should make sure they're alright with us using those sprites, especially considering that most of them were custom.
Excellent call. Whoever is making the sheets should contact them. I'm sure they'd be happy to see their graphics used in the popular SMBC.
I was thinking the same when I thought of ripping some sprites for tSR. Yeah, maybe I should have a go at it... EDIT: Only just sent, so no response yet...
I've got a question: sorry for my lack of knowledge on game mechanics but is it possible to change a characters mask (what it collides with) and center (events take place here, eg a bullet being shot) as well as the skin itself? Probably not, worth a shot though.
Oh, so we get to play as Ryu's friend who he trained with to win the Street Fighting circuit before becoming a Ninja.
>ryu becoming a ninja to fight demons after realizing humans were no match for him in fighting tournaments HAHAHAHA
I'll just leave this here: Yeah, you guessed it. It's a Mario skin for Megaman. The portrait isn't very good, but other than that, I think it looks fine. Oh, and by the way, the Blue ! block is the water shield, and the red one is the energy balancer. And sorry 'bout him having no 'stache, but I don't really have that much room for it!
Hm his legs. Mario does not wear BOOTS. But I guess it does look cool anyway. And his hat looks a bit off. But I bet you're gonna improve that all. That's. Freaking. Creative.
I hope I didn't make you shit your pants. Starman as the powerup or the projectile? The fireball is quite doable, at the very least. It's unfinished as of right now, but it's pretty damn close to being finished. You're right, I am going to improve it, though. EDIT: Fixed everything that needed fixing. As you can see, the boomerang powerup (Metal Blade) is now the boomerang flower from Mario 3D land, and the charge kick is now a gray boot instead of brown, and some of the icons have been changed. Also, the portrait looks a lot less like a zombie. And by the way, the following palettes should be used for each weapon: Super Arm (Mega Mushroom) = Wario Metal Blade (Boomerang Flower) = Blue with red overalls Hard Knuckle (Bullet Bill Cannon) = Black with gray overalls Pharoh Shot (Fire Flower) = Fire Mario Charge Kick (Gray Kuribo Boot) = Metal Mario Flame Blast (Podoboo) = Orange with red overalls Water Shield (Blue ! Block) = Ice Mario (NSMBWii) Rush Coil (Spring) = Luigi Rush Jet (P-Wing) = Red with white overalls Rush Marine (Cheep Cheep) = Blue with yellow overalls.
