I thought Waluigi started off in that Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix game a ways back on the game cube?

Nope! His debut was, in fact, Mario Tennis. Before DDR: Mario Mix he also appeared in Superstar Saga (I think, though it may have been Partners in Time).

You're both wrong. He obviously debuted in Haunted House on the Magnavox Odyssey.

Waluigi has never appeared in an M&L game (according to Super Mario Wiki, at least). Maybe you were thinking of Super Mario Bros. Z?
It does list his first appearance as Mario Tennis, though, so you got that right. Wario needed a doubles partner.

I remember reading a whole thing on Waluigi's debut, so despite my distaste for him I know a decent amount about his history. Apparently instead of being lazily combining "Wario" and "Luigi" his name is an anagram for the translation of the Japanese word for "Prison". Although I read this like...12 years ago. I might remember wrong. But I'm pretty sure of this.

Yeah, that's my skin. The portrait is nothing special, so anyone can make one for it. Waluigi's colors are in fact meant to be darker, but it's not a huge problem.

I'll add this here. Princess Peach from SMB 2 for a Luigi skin, and Toad as Mario skin.

If nobody seems to start working on Peach, I'll try to do both she and Daisy (I'll try to edit Daisy here and there so she won't look like a simple recolor of Peach)

Great idea! Glad someone is finally making these obvious skins. Might as well do Toad for Mario if no one else is doing it.

I've just got one question: Should I make Peach's sprites blonde like we've done with Rosalina's skin?

→ I just looked and what I think is that one of the shades of the hair from the portraits should be used for the hair of the actual sprites. Then the current blonde color could be used for Peach.

Sorry for misunderstanding. I thought you meant her final version would have blonde hair only. So there will be two versions right?
