    What about at 1: 38 and 3:12?

    Its from Demon Returns, a "retro" game from a game called Game Center CX2 it took lots of old characters and reinvented them with unique new features. Demon Returns was based mostly on Mario, thought it'd be cool to add :)

    And yeah, the black and yellow is from Super Mario Land 2, you can choose to us the different palettes that were used on black and white games when you played them on the gameboy color :D

    I ha ve no idea where you've seen any level editor. If you're talking about skins, there are some non-Mario franchise ones from 3:00 to 3:30 .

    We didn't show every skin, so if there's some you were hoping for they could still be in.

    Yeah, ProtoMan was a skin, how could you tell though? We tried to make it so the skins seemed like completely different characters so they'd feel more unique.

    A lot of skins haven't been shown. You can see some previews on the wiki, if I remember well. .. Are the templates released anyway?
    Anyway, having a grey robot instead of some kind of Rambo is a bit not as interesting in my own whole personnal opinion.

    The site is flipping out on itself and having an aneurysm of awesome, and I've already seen like 2 triple-posts as a result, so I'm hoping this posts correctly:

    Holy shit!

    I know I mentioned shitting rainbows, but the spectrum has been blown out of the water. Just from the cursory glance we had at the new weapons, skinning possibilities, characters, UI... This is some seriously impressive stuff. And some of these skins are really promising in terms of what we as players will be able to do down the road! DTMF!

    The templates aren't out yet, I'll probably post them soon though, maybe when the site slows down a bit more, lol. As for the robots, Europe only got those so might seem more familiar to some people compared to Bill.

    I'm gonna try and add them in, we already have a lot of skins though so no guarantees at the moment :)

    Though I've never owned any big console older than the N64 ; it was roman6a who told me about "Probotector". I only think that Bill is graphically and game-conceptually more interesting. But making a skin doesn't kill anyone so it's cool. :)

    I'm quite busy these times, but I should get enough time to make skins once things calm down around. When will holidays be again?

    SNES skins caught me off guard. I didn't think you'd go there, Jay. I really want to see some of the enemy/level skins from other games in action, though! Especially after dropping the SNES bomb. I've been spending the last half hour thinking about Super Metroid, ALttP, and SMW.

    Damn, there's so much traffic going on here, I almost hit another car person.
    Anyway... here's my reaction to the trailer:

    16 Bit SMBC, cool...
    Oh yeah... character-related power-ups, awesome!!!
    Super Mario Land 2-skins aswell? Not b... wait a moment...
    OH MY GOD!!!!!!!
    I grab my keys, change my underpants, call my girlfriend: "STREET NOOOOOW!!!!!!!!"
    I leave my apartment and knock on my neighbour's door. He opens the door and asks me tired: "What do you wa...", i push him away, run into his apartment with my hands in the air, i start shouting: "OH MY GOD, I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", I open his fridge, grab a beer bottle, drink the whole shit on ex *a slight and fine burp escapes my overly pleased body*, i run to my neighbour kiss his forehead and leave his apartment!
    After that i run down the stairs and hop onto streets like a maniac rabbit. A car almost hit me, but I don't give a shit. The driver leaves his car and asks me: "Are you crazy, you moron?", and I just answer: "SUPER MARIO LAND 2-SKINS, SUPER MARIO LAND 2-SKINS... IN SMBC!!!!!!", and he says: "WHAT??? SERIOUSLY??? OH MY GOD... I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!", he grabs my hands and we both jump and laugh and shout and laugh like crazy... and then... my girlfriend appeared and asked me: "What the hell is going on here?", and I just say: "OH MY GOD, YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT...", and she answers: "OH MY GOD... SUPER MARIO LAND 2-SKINS IN SMBC????", and I just say: "OH MY GOD... HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT???", and we both laugh and kiss and *censored*... oh... what a crazy night...


    Ahem... yeah, pretty cool stuff Jay! :)

    Yeah only Luigi and Bass are new characters. But some skins are slightly modified from the originals. For example, proto man shoots lower than mega man.
