There are enough differences between 1.2 and 2.0 to justify keeping the old version around for those who would like to go back and play it from time to time. I think archiving it would be a great idea.

Also, I feel like I said this before, but it seems important enough to state again, since people keep saying things like "What's the point?" and "Who cares?"
