best idea, all of you
That first idea would be awesome.
It wouldn't be out of character for SMBC to give the FF characters a jump ability. Link jumps. I imagine that the characters could jump and their attacks (and upgrades) are spells/tactics from FF.
Be sure to let them use the x2/xra spells to hit the whole screen!
Also, I was gonna make some Light Warrior skins for the hell of it, but TCRF doesn't have them at an acceptable resolution. Halp?
I use http://www.spriters-resource.com for all of my sprite needs.
I need the sheet as encoded in the game...
I'm not sure if we'll get back to them eventually or not, it's mostly up to Jay. Personally I think it'd be cool to finish them at some point but I don't know when we'd have the chance to since we'll be working on SRS for a while.
Click on the link in the OP.
It's resampled to hell and back. It's not like I didn't think of that, given that I made the OP

Well, the future will always be there. Some day
So you did.
I concede, good sir.
I guess you will have to break into Square-Enix headquarters.
He means the sheet for SMBC, not for Final Fantasy.
Then he has to break into the ER headquarters. Either way someone has to get a team together consisting of Ving Rhames, a woman with an accent whose trustworthiness is in question and a Russian who can't be trusted but has to because of the circumstances. I hear the location of said file is in a room of the tightest security. Bring a rope.
God can someone just extract it from the SWF and stop being a smartass
I'd help you if I knew what that process entails. Until then, only smartassery.
Can you do it yourself instead of accusing everyone else of being a smartass?
EDIT: You can only save the preloader, even when the full game has loaded. This means you can only extract stuff from the first loading screen.
I'm not sure if that was intentional security or just a bonus from some programming solution, but it's pretty cool regardless.
Anyway yeah I have no idea how to get to that skin.
You're welcome :D
Where do those spell graphics come from?
Look like devamped FF4/5 spell effects.
Separate names with a comma.
